I'm in the habit of aquiring used aquariums at bargain prices and after a while I run out of sturdy furniture to put these suckers on. This was when I realized I was going to have to build my own stand. I had been looking at different designs with frames and cabinet doors all that stuff and these were nice but looked a little complex for my limited building experience. So I ended up making a direct knock-off of a stand I saw in one of my local fish stores. The store-bought stand would have cost me over $100. The cheapo rip off that I built cost me around $40. I will probably add more to the documentation later but for now here are some pictures.
